Faster Freight — Product Recovery
Challenge: a logistics platform stalled for 12+ months with a demoralised team, no agreed scope and inventory data nobody trusted. What I did: took ownership, rebuilt the requirements baseline and backlog, led a cross-functional team of seven, drove the reconciliation of 5M+ inventory records, and re-sequenced delivery around a shippable core. Outcome: MVP live in six months, with inventory and logistics modules aligned to compliance and security requirements.
ERP Integration — Dynamics 365 & Sage 200
Challenge: a bearings supplier running three disconnected systems — custom software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage 200 — with duplicated entry and no single view of stock and orders. What I did: mapped the business processes and data models across all three systems, specified the integration, and validated it through UAT with the supplier's own staff. Outcome: a delivered ERP integration giving one consistent flow across operations and finance.
Security Audits & Legacy Transitions
Challenge: legacy estates with unknown risk, and organisations needing to transition safely under UK & EU GDPR. What I did: conducted 30+ initial security audits across Next.js, Laravel, Yii2, WordPress, OpenCart and custom PHP/Python systems — building Python tooling to automate the analysis — owned legacy-system transitions, and produced documentation non-technical stakeholders could act on. Outcome: a retail-system transition completed in four months, audited estates with prioritised remediation, and developers trained to maintain what was handed over.
Qorym — AI-Assisted Delivery
Challenge: prove that AI-assisted workflows can carry production delivery — not demos. What I did: ran a 6-month calibration programme with two senior engineers across Django, Next.js, Laravel and C# .NET; analysed, specified and shipped an MVP loyalty-gamification SaaS for small businesses with automated Playwright QA. Outcome: a live multi-tenant product, plus a repeatable AI-assisted delivery workflow now applied across the practice.
Metamedia — Digital Migration
Challenge: mid-sized organisations running offline operations on ageing, fragmented inventory systems. What I did: analysed processes and IT capability, designed the migration to digital platforms, led the refactor and relaunch of multi-vendor inventory systems, and mentored two analysts and a UX designer — alongside supporting an anti-plagiarism platform serving 1M+ monthly users and a high-value jewellery project to first-page SERP positions. Outcome: offline operations moved online on a consolidated platform.
